Unleash the true potential of your bike with the 2G Engineering Sports Air Filter
Designed specifically for the Ducati Hypermotard 950 and Hypermotard 950 SP (2019-later), the 2G Engineering sport air filter is the ultimate choice for riders seeking the ultimate in performance, reliability, and build quality. Developed to compete with the industry's most renowned brands, our filter delivers optimized airflow, significantly improved throttle response, and a noticeable increase in power and torque across the entire rev range.
Technology and Performance without Compromise
Unlike traditional paper filters, the high-performance 2G Engineering filter fabric ensures exceptional airflow while blocking even the finest impurities. This translates into more efficient combustion and a much more aggressive and engaging intake sound. Made with premium materials, it guarantees superior durability and does not require frequent replacement: it is designed to accompany your Ducati mile after mile.
Maximum Versatility: Total Compatibility
The true strength of the 2G Engineering kit lies in its extreme versatility. Installation is strictly Plug & Play. The filter has been designed to offer perfect fit in two different configurations:
Compatible with the 100% with the original airbox and intake of your Hypermotard 950.
Perfectly integrated with the 2G Engineering aftermarket intake system, to create a complete racing system and maximize fluid-dynamic performance.
Main Features:
Increased performance: Increased air permeability for increased power and torque.
Premium Quality: Racing-grade materials, comparable to the top of the range on the market, but with the craftsmanship and engineering signature of 2G Engineering.
Dual Compatibility: Installs without modifications in both the stock airbox and with 2G intake kits.
Plug & Play installation: Quick and easy, with no need to remap the ECU (for the filter only).
Long-lasting: Built to last and easy to maintain over time, reducing replacement costs compared to OEM filters.

So, I fitted this filter housing yesterday. It's not exactly cheap for a piece of 3D-printed plastic, but it costs about one-fifth or one-tenth of the price of an exhaust system that doesn't really do much apart from making more noise, because the stock exhaust system is lightweight and very well designed.
My bike is a 2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP with 29,000 km on the clock. It is fitted with an eFlexFuel unit so it can run on ethanol. Everything else is completely stock: the catalytic converter and the exhaust.
I rode 60 km this morning, and here are my conclusions.
With a small amount of throttle when exiting slow corners, the bike feels smoother and more responsive. There is less need to smooth out the throttle response with the clutch in order to ride efficiently and cleanly. The bike isn't more powerful down low — quite the opposite — but the power delivery is smoother and more linear.
Around 3,000 rpm, you start to feel the engine filling out, and around 3,500–4,000 rpm, it really comes alive. The bike catapults forward with noticeably more torque and reaches the redline much more quickly.
I believe the advertised 3 horsepower are definitely there, possibly even a little more. You notice it especially because you reach the rev limiter much faster than before.
The engine feels more free-revving and less inert throughout the entire rev range. The sound also changes slightly at wide-open throttle from the mid-range upwards.
Is it worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt.
In my opinion, without remapping the ECU, the best setup is the Intake Device 2 Engineering combined with the stock catalytic converter and stock exhaust.
Forget the Akrapovičs, Termignonis and other €1,500–€2,000 exhaust systems. This cover and filter will make you very happy for a fraction of the price, while allowing you to ride completely legally.

Made of excellent materials, the bike is finally more responsive at low revs, the power delivery is linear and there is no longer the annoying on/off.
Thanks to this solution from 2G Engineering the motorbike is as it should be.
Thanks to Gioele Goldoni for his expertise, speed, availability, and professionalism.

Very happy, fast delivery, 4days to UK.
Excellent fit – used in conjunction with the sprint filter P08, gives sharp throttle response, noticeable increased torque. Glad I made the investment 👍
