Every 2G Engineering kit is checked and packed by hand in Soliera (Modena). Here is how we ship, what it costs and how to return a product.
1. Processing time
Orders are usually prepared and handed to the courier within 1–2 working days of payment confirmation. Orders received at weekends or on public holidays are prepared on the next working day. At busy times this may take longer: if so, we will let you know by email.
2. Costs and couriers
- Italy: flat rate €10.00; free shipping on orders over €100.00.
- European Union: flat rate €10.00.
- Rest of the world: cost calculated automatically at checkout based on destination and weight.
- Where available, at checkout you can also choose express shipping with BRT or UPS via Packlink, with the price shown before you confirm.
All costs are shown in the cart and at checkout before you place the order. For shipments outside the European Union any duties and import taxes are paid by the recipient.
3. Delivery times
Once the parcel is with the courier, delivery usually takes 1–2 working days in Italy, 2–5 working days in the European Union and variable times elsewhere. These are courier estimates. In any case delivery takes place within 30 days of the order, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
4. Tracking
When the parcel leaves you receive an email with the tracking code so you can follow it on the courier’s website.
5. Delivery and damaged parcels
Deliveries take place on working days. Please give an address where someone is present; if the courier finds nobody, they leave a notice with instructions for redelivery or collection.
If the packaging looks damaged or tampered with on delivery, we recommend accepting the parcel with reservation by writing “accepted subject to inspection” and the reason on the courier’s document, and sending us photos of the parcel and product as soon as possible. This helps us handle the claim with the courier; it does not limit your guarantee rights.
6. Returns and right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can return the product without giving any reason within 15 days of delivery (the statutory period is 14 days: we extend it). To do so, write to gioele.goldoni@duegengineering.com or on WhatsApp at +39 351 6494542 quoting your order number; you can also use the withdrawal form at the bottom of our Terms and Conditions.
- Send the product to: 2G Engineering, Via Ravarino Carpi 1832, 41019 Soliera (MO), Italy, within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. Return shipping costs are paid by you.
- We refund the full amount paid, including the order’s standard shipping costs, within 14 days of being told of your withdrawal, using the same payment method. We may wait until we receive the product (or proof that it has been sent) before refunding.
- The product must not have been used: if it has been fitted or shows signs of use, the refund may be reduced in proportion to the loss in value.
- Products made to measure or personalised at your request cannot be returned.
7. Faulty or non-conforming product
If the product arrives broken, faulty or different from what you ordered, contact us with photos or a video: we will repair, replace or refund it, and we pay the return shipping. Consumers benefit from the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery; details are in our Terms and Conditions.
