1. Seller and scope
These terms govern the distance sale of the products offered on duegengineering.com by 2G Engineering by Gioele Goldoni, registered office Via Colombo 165, 41019 Soliera (MO), Italy – operational headquarters Via Ravarino Carpi 1832, 41019 Soliera (MO) – VAT no. IT04180880363 – REA MO-449551 – email gioele.goldoni@duegengineering.com – certified email (PEC) gioelegoldoni@pec.it – phone / WhatsApp +39 351 6494542 (hereinafter “2G Engineering” or “we”).
These terms apply both to consumers (individuals buying for purposes outside their trade or profession) and to business customers (those buying with a VAT number in the course of their business). Clauses for consumers apply in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code); consumer protection rules do not apply to business customers.
By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and the Privacy Policy. The version of the terms published at the time of the order applies.
2. Products
We sell aftermarket parts for Ducati motorcycles (intake kits, enlarged airbox lids, air filters) designed and made by 2G Engineering. The main characteristics, compatibility with models and years, and the price are shown on each product page. Images are for illustration only; the dyno results shown were measured on test bikes and may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.
Before buying, check compatibility with your model and year of registration. If in doubt, contact us: we will help you choose.
3. Road use and vehicle compliance
It is the buyer’s responsibility to check that fitting the product to their vehicle complies with the highway code and the type-approval and road traffic rules of the country where the vehicle is used, including any update of the registration document. 2G Engineering is not liable for penalties or consequences arising from use that does not comply with those rules. Installation must follow the instructions supplied, preferably by qualified staff.
4. Prices
Prices are in euros and, for sales in Italy and the European Union, include VAT. Shipping costs are shown in the cart and at checkout before the order is placed. For shipments outside the European Union any duties, import taxes and customs charges are paid by the buyer and are not included in the price.
5. How the contract is concluded
To buy, add products to the cart, enter the required details at checkout, choose shipping and payment and click the order button, which implies an obligation to pay. Before confirming you can check and correct the data entered and the contents of the cart.
The contract is concluded when you receive our order confirmation email, which summarises products, prices, costs and terms. We keep the order in our systems and you can ask us for a copy at any time. The contract can be concluded in Italian or English.
We may decline an order if the product is unavailable, the price contains an obvious error or fraud is suspected; in that case we will let you know and, if payment has already been taken, refund it in full without delay.
6. Payment
We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, MyBank and Klarna, as available at checkout. Payments are handled securely by the respective providers (Stripe/WooPayments, PayPal, Klarna); we do not receive full card details. The amount is charged when the order is placed, unless the chosen method has different terms (for example Klarna instalments). An invoice is issued as required by law and, on request, made out to your company if you enter its tax details at checkout.
7. Shipping and delivery
We ship to Italy, the European Union and the rest of the world. Costs, couriers and estimated times are described on the Shipping and returns page and shown at checkout. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place no later than 30 days from the conclusion of the contract; in case of delay the consumer may set an additional period and, if delivery still does not take place, terminate the contract with a full refund.
For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer only when the product is physically delivered to the buyer or to a person they designate (Art. 63 Italian Consumer Code). Please check the parcel on delivery and tell us immediately about any visible damage, accepting it with reservation where possible: this helps us handle the claim with the courier but does not limit your statutory rights.
8. Right of withdrawal (consumers only)
If you are a consumer you may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 15 days of the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, receive the product. The statutory period is 14 days (Art. 52 Italian Consumer Code): we extend it to 15 days. If an order includes several products delivered separately, the period runs from delivery of the last product.
How to withdraw: before the deadline, send us a clear statement of your decision to withdraw at gioele.goldoni@duegengineering.com, to our certified email (PEC) or via WhatsApp, quoting your order number. You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but it is not mandatory.
Returning the product: you must send the product back to 2G Engineering, Via Ravarino Carpi 1832, 41019 Soliera (MO), Italy, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the product. We recommend a tracked service and suitable packaging.
Refund: we will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs (excluding extra costs of a more expensive delivery method you chose), without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day we are informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or you have supplied proof of having sent it back, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you.
Condition of the product: you may only handle the product as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from other handling, for example fitting it to the motorcycle with signs of use, oiled or used filters, scratches or missing parts: in that case we may reduce the refund in proportion to the loss in value.
Exclusions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to your specifications or clearly personalised (Art. 59(c) Italian Consumer Code), for example parts designed or 3D-printed at your request.
Business customers: there is no statutory right of withdrawal. We may agree to take back unused, unfitted products within 15 days of delivery, subject to written agreement and with transport costs paid by the customer.
9. Legal guarantee of conformity
For consumers, all products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code: we are liable for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery. The defect must be reported within 2 months of discovery. If a product is defective you are entitled, free of charge, to repair or replacement and, where provided by law, to a price reduction or termination of the contract. For defective or non-conforming products we pay the return shipping costs.
To make a guarantee claim, write to us with your order number and a description of the problem, ideally with photos or a video: we will tell you how to proceed with checking and returning the product. Damage caused by fitting not in line with the instructions, misuse, accidents, normal wear (for example of the filter) or modifications to the product is not a lack of conformity.
For business customers the warranty against defects under Articles 1490 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code applies: defects must be reported within 8 days of discovery and the claim is time-barred one year after delivery.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from incorrect fitting, misuse of the product or use in breach of road traffic rules. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for personal injury or for defective products under Articles 114 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, nor the mandatory rights of consumers.
11. Personal data
Data provided with the order are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy.
12. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction
You can send complaints to the contact details in section 1: we will reply within 15 working days. Consumers may also refer to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed under Article 141-decies of the Italian Consumer Code.
The contract is governed by Italian law. Consumers resident in another EU country keep the benefit of any more favourable mandatory rules of their country of residence. Disputes with consumers fall under the jurisdiction of the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile; disputes with business customers fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Modena.
