The 2G Engineering filter is made of polyester fabric: it lets more air through, traps dirt and is cleaned with a blast of compressed air, no oil needed. Buy it once and it lasts a lifetime.<\/p>\n<h2>What a performance filter can and can't do<\/h2>\n<p>A more permeable filter improves airflow and, unlike paper, does not lose efficiency over the miles: you just clean it. On its own, though, it will not transform the character of the engine: without changes to the intake or the mapping, the power gain is small.
