It is not approved for road use: use on public roads is not permitted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Why replace the stock paper air filter<\/h2>\n<p>The stock Monster 821 filter is made of paper: over the miles it clogs, loses permeability and has to be replaced at every service. The 2G Engineering filter is made of polyester fabric: it lets more air through, traps dirt and is cleaned with a blast of compressed air, with no oil. You buy it once and it lasts a lifetime.<\/p>\n<h2>What a performance filter can and can't do<\/h2>\n<p>A more permeable filter improves airflow, but on the Monster 821 the real limit is the stock intake inlet, narrow and very restrictive.
